Sea Gypsy Online was created in May 2005. All started by an idea to try and learn about online Ecommerce business. My then Partner had always had an interest in Egypt so seemed as good an idea to start there as anywhere else and it was different to what a lot of others were doing.

So Sea Gypsy Online was started by us and has slowly continued to build a great relationship with many customers as well as suppliers with in Egypt. It was from the original supplier founded in 2005 that offered the opportunity to travel to Cairo, Egypt.

I had never been overseas before, my partner was well travelled and had told many stories of overseas and I have always said we live in such a wonderful and beautiful country I had not felt the need to travel. I believed I needed to get to know the people and their culture a little in this country with so much history and mystique.

The offer from my first supplier was to good to refuse to come to Egypt and see it for myself. This was back in August 2005 when I and my Partner travelled there.

On return from Egypt in 2005, the Showroom in Cleveland was opened and my partner ran this side of the venture, the original concept was for it to be exactly that, a Showroom styled premises for customers to see the beauty and quality of what we could supply, it was situated within the Redland Shire, approximately 40 minutes SE of Brisbane CBD.

Do to a few factors it was decided to close the showroom September 2006, but I have an open mind and may re-open a retail showroom again at sometime in the near future.

Since this time I have ended up with Sea Gypsy Online as the sole owner as my Partner decided to move on with life and out of Joint ownership.

My Motto for Sea Gypsy Online is to please the customer and no job is too small or too big.

All jewellery and other items are made to order and are secure shipped straight to your door, in a very short time. There are several items other than gold and silver that can be ordered according to taste, so if you have anything special in mind please just ask.

I am always on the lookout for new handcrafted items from many of the countries of the world. The Dream is still alive and will continue.
